Refund and cancellation policy.

This policy explains how refunds and cancellation work for the one-off paid AI-assisted Letter of Wishes option.

Free option

The free option has no charge, so there is no payment to refund.

Paid AI-assisted option

The paid option is a one-off £5 purchase. It unlocks paid examples, AI drafting or section-polish assists, and premium PDF styles for the current browser letter while the entitlement is active.

Immediate digital access

Because the paid option is supplied digitally and access starts immediately after checkout confirmation, you may lose the usual 14-day cancellation right once digital content or services have been made available or used, where the law allows this.

Before paying, review the product description, these refund terms, and the Terms of Use. Do not buy the paid option if you do not want immediate digital access.

When we will normally refund

Email hello@letterofwishes.uk with enough information to find the Stripe payment if:

  • you were charged more than once for the same browser letter by mistake;
  • checkout succeeded but paid access was not made available and restore did not work;
  • a technical fault meant you could not use any paid feature after payment;
  • you believe a payment was unauthorised or fraudulent.

When we will normally not refund

We will not normally refund because you changed your mind after paid examples, AI assistance, or premium PDF styles were made available; because you did not like a particular AI draft; or because you expected legal advice, solicitor review, saved accounts, or binding legal effect that the product does not provide.

How to request a refund

Email hello@letterofwishes.uk within 14 days of purchase. Do not send your private Letter of Wishes content. Include the checkout email, purchase date, and a short explanation. We may ask for limited extra information to locate the payment.

Statutory rights

Nothing in this policy limits statutory rights that cannot legally be excluded. If digital content is faulty or not as described, we will handle the request in line with applicable consumer law.
