Essential session cookies

The app may set a PHP session cookie such as PHPSESSID. This is needed to keep paid access, restore-link status, checkout confirmation, rate-limiting state, and form flow behaviour working during your visit.

Browser storage for saved progress

The write flow can use local storage and session storage with names such as letterofwishes.letter.v1, letterofwishes.pendingUpgrade, and letterofwishes.paidExamples. These are stored in your browser, not in the product database, and help restore progress, remember a pending checkout return, or cache paid examples during a session.

Analytics

The site includes the Cloudflare Web Analytics beacon from static.cloudflareinsights.com. It is used for aggregate page-view and performance reporting. We do not use Google Analytics or advertising pixels at launch.

Payment and third-party pages

When you go to Stripe Checkout, Stripe's own cookies and similar technologies may apply on Stripe's pages. OpenAI and Cloudflare may also process technical data when their services are used. Their own notices explain their separate processing.

How to control cookies and storage

You can block or delete cookies and local storage in your browser settings. If you block essential session cookies, paid checkout confirmation, restore links, and some security features may not work correctly. If you clear local storage, saved letter progress in this browser may be lost.

Changes

If we add optional analytics, advertising, marketing, or preference cookies later, this notice should be updated and the site should ask for consent where required.
